I'll never understand how people complain about this. The Batmobile is so fun, I've always wanted to drive the Batmobile my whole fucking life and this feels just fantastic.
I will say the tank combat stuff is kind of shitty, I see what they were trying to do but it didn't work out. They clearly wanted to capture the rhythmic feel of the freeflow combat, rewarding long combos with special moves and favoring precision over button mashing. But in practice it feels really stupid.
The "stealth" sections against the really strong drones though, that shit is how the Batmobile should be.

It's not that the batmobile wasn't fun to play as, but when it came to certain things, it just became a replacement. You don't use your own hook to tear down that wall anymore, you have to get the car to do so. Puzzles didn't become more interesting, they just required the car instead this time, which made it tedious and dissappointing.

2) They felt that a sidekick would make the Joker more of an antithesis to Batman
