Dark Souls is a more coherent, believable world with a more relatable cast. Bloodborne by it's very nature is very difficult to wrap your head around due to the motivations of the Great Ones being unknowable and only able to be understood once on the bring of madness. Speaking of madness, this also hurts BB's cast as most of the people you meet are insane fucks diving dick first into insanity hoping to find some hidden truth. Which is harder to relate to than "I just want one more adventure before I die."
However Bloodborne's speedier gameplay is a blast and trick weapons >>>>> 1h/2h weapons. Also Bloodborne's designs are fucking great even if they get busy sometimes.

Forbidden woods feels monotonous and boring to go through, byrgenwerth is blatantly unfinished, and houses an awful boss, yahar'gul is full of incredibly annoying frustrating enemies that may as well be rushed past, and has another awful boss, the lecture building feels needlessly disassociated with the main world, frontier is virtually useless and amygdala is wasted there, mensis feels reiterative of bloodborne's main areas, and the bosses are garbage, cainhurst is painfully short and underutilised, it needed another side area, upper cathedral ward is a complete waste as the actual meat of the area is one room

What do you mean? To parry you shoot the enemy during their active attack frames, which stuns them. Then you get close to them and hit R1.

They're much easier if you have some kind of crushing or knockback weapon and charge it up while they walk into them (such as hunters axe or church hammer)
After the first smash, you can walk behind them and charge up again to backstab, because the delay before the powerup at ~60% hp is fairly long

This is my problem with DaS3. On its own, when its doing its own thing, it's fantastic. Sans the swamp the game is fucking fun to play. But the game just spends way too much time sucking Dark Souls 1's dick. There is NO REASON for Solaire's set to still be in the game. There's no reason for Astora, Catarina, and Vinheim to all still be around. I get that 3 is basically trying to phase out 2 but fucking hell you mean to tell me we're at least 5 Age of Fires in and we're still digging up Artorias's shit?

When we kill Mergo's wet nurse, you don't get the the Nightmare slain until the baby stops crying.
When you fight Orphan of Kos it has a form and once you kill it you get a "Prey Slaughtered" and then you get a Nightmare Slain from the whispy thing.
I don't feel like it's clear but I can see your point but I can also see someone thinking of it not being clear.
