During Death Battle's early years the guy who played Boomstick said that the reason they didn't do Snake vs Sam at that point was because they couldn't find the right way to make it entertaining. He jokingly said that the match would be a single frame until a gun shot is heard. IIRC this was before they hired an actual animator
God man, if you're going to spend the time to animate this shit then do it right.
This is just hard to watch and all the coolness is lost by the stiff animations.
