If CDPR were to make another game set in the Witcher world, I'd have liked to play as a witcher from another school, yeah. Whilst picking school would be cool as shit, I think it'd be very difficult for them to make a narrative that's as convincing if they have to go by the old BioWare route; I think it'd go smoother with a more well defined character.
Manticore school is the coolest school btw.

Eskel is said to be equal in skill and experience to Geralt. He's actually even more magically "active" than him.
But even then Eskel is based 10/10. He's doing proper witcher work and not getting fucked up with prophecies and sorceress politics.
What's the level of the enemies in HoS and BaW? I'd like to do the expacs as soon as I can on a fresh save.

Sounds more like a sandbox game at this point. For a completely new witcher I think it'd be more neato if we got a story akin to that of Blood & Wine. Focus on a big fucking contract and preferably doing more real witcher work. The main storyline in Witcher 3 wasn't bad per se, but it was the side bits (of the main story) like the Bloody Baron that really shone; the big, epic, personal narrative about prophecy shit just isn't that interesting, not when being a proper witcher is ten times cooler.

B&W ending spoilers:I wouldn't use that word to describe any of the endings, really. What you call the "bad ending" only really led to the death of the instigator; Regis also wasn't forced to break the vampire laws. I personally got the "happy ending" with the two forgiving eachother and Regis being hounded out of Toussaint, and honestly I wasn't that pleased. Two sociopathic sisters get off scot free and the one guy besides Geralt trying to do some genuine good is shafted because the two previously mentioned women don't understand the seriousness of fucking with higher vampires.

Though I think the Duchess is alright, she was guilty of a moment of weakness as a spoiled girl. I didn't like Syanna that much. She had a point but she took it way way too far. I'm surprised she didn't have a fall guy for the kidnapping. Detlaff was a loose cannon. Any guy who goes homicidal over being rejected by a woman is trouble. Also, the final fight against detlaff was unrealistic. I didn't even believe geralt should've beaten him

True, but both those games didn't have a voiced PC, the character's history was also pretty well defined and it was just up to you to decide their appearance and later actions. I mean, we all know what happened to Dragon Age: Inquisition. Its narrative was unclear, the PC barely had any real personality (nothing ever came close to being as meme-worthy as Geralt's shenanigans because it was all standardised sarky, kind or mean comments).

Syanna was a sociopath who justified her poor behaviour with "muh childhood", but I wouldn't say the duchess was way better. She seemed to be a just and proper ruler at times, but she was quick to condemn men to death for ridiculous offenses like stealing ducal wine or merely being the pawn of the true antagonist; the sister she then showed infinitely more mercy than she'd have showed any of those men, despite knowing that said sister would have had her killed given the chance. The duchess was, if anything, a tempramental ill-ruler that refuses to listen when it doesn't suit her.
As for Geralt being able to defeat him; that was never the true issue. Higher vampires are insanely dangerous but not impossible to beat; it's the killing of them that's the issue. An issue Regis solved.
