Like, this is the third floor of THE FIRST DUNGEON. You can't navigate that shit without constantly looking at a map and opening the map costs uses from a consumable item.
The SECOND DUNGEON has a 3x2 secret room you have to find to progress in the game. The only way to find it is to either have a Thief in your party and succeed at a luck check when passing by or clicking EVERY WALL IN THE DUNGEON where you suspect a secret room might be at.

Elminage in general is one of the most impentetrable dungeon crawler series on the market, but mostly because of lazy design where there is assloads of unfielded information, like how certain skills at character creation work, or even how certain facilities in town work, like the alchemist work bench shit costs money but the game will never tell you how much it actually costs. Not even gonna go into the game requiring a certain action at points that is a specific button to investigate something despite any other time you investigate something simple accept/cancel buttons work - even on hidden walls, but not these weird occurances that shouldn't be any diffrent but are for some sloppy fucking reason.

If you like wizardry, you would like Etrian Odyssey, 7th Dragon, or SoSC.
Dungeon Hacks center around major puzzle solving in dungeons and real time combat where you still run around in the dungeon while still fighting. You tend to stay in the dungeon the whole time.
Wizardry you are focusing on trying to build your party up to survive encounters and progress through dungeons and leave when your getting beat to heal and level and reequip, the worst puzzles tend to get is flipping switches and looking for the open door, fighting is also turn based.

Nothing "modern" I've seen in some time, last major one I saw on steam was elminage gothic a few years ago, but that one you'll really need to get ready to grind your teeth on because it's just a fucking time sink and explains absolutely fucking nothing, and does stupid shit like assigning certain talents to pre-fab characters that you can't actually give to any you would make. Leveling is the slowest of about any game you could name especially early on, and you will find zero equipment for the first two dungeons which will encompass over the first 10 hours of gameplay, and the one respectable weapon in the town shop can break if you use it's special ability.

Equipment is largely found via ambush points in dungeons, where you monitor several random encounter parties and the chest they are carrying around - but each one you choose to skip increases the chance of you getting ambushed yourself but is more likely to find a better chest. There's Divinities which are powers you get from doing the game's plot progression mechanic which you get from crystals bosses drop, you have a choice between several divinities per tier but each one is tied to a certain alignment, and you have to figure out how your gonna build yourself to get whatever ending you want. Also you can class change, but only about 5 times per character, you have a slot system to put skills you aquired from previous classes so you can't get all the skills from each class put on at once.
