I really need spoonfeeding and handholding as I heard there is a chance of bricking and I'm not experienced with homebrew and hacking. The only other console I've "hacked" was the PSP, but that has to be the easiest console to hack ever.
I did install the homebrew launcher using Ninjhax earlier, but that was a lot easier than pirating games.

All I remember is going through the browserhax instructions and getting to a black screen. There's this option you needed to select on it for it to do something. Anyway, the option was highlighted and I kept pressing A but it wouldn't do anything.

Ok I found the part you were talking about. That only applies if the first steps of that section don't work (taking the SD card out and booting without it). I had to do that at sometime and it worked just fine. You only need to boot into recovery mode if you soft bricked which, if you follow the guide correctly, the chances of that happening are miniscule.

Impossible if you follow the full guide and install A9LH since that takes control of the system on bootup. Even if Nintendo fucked your system up this means you can still restore a backup to a previous version.

Yes, you can install DLCs for games that you already own. But if you have a CFW and you go to the eShop, that DLC will be probably deleted (apparently it doesn't happen with all the DLC).
It can be fixed by just re-installing it again, and since eShop will be 'useless'... it's not a big problem.

I fucked my CFW pretty hard but at least I have a EmuNAND working, FBI installed, and can play games. Having to use menuhax every time I turn it on and RxTools reinstalling every time too is a small price to pay for free games. So is switching NANDs if I select "close" from the home menu instead of clicking the health and safety app. But again, free games so I don't give a shit.
