Nothing much really. Basara has slightly better combat, still very basic and mostly just button mashing though. Musou games tend to have more content and open ended gameplay.
Basara is more linear and locked in and thus plays a bit better, Musou games tend to be more open and thus a bit less well designed, but, on the plus side, has more unique content.
I love both personally. Prefer Basara slightly more since I like the story and characters more. Musou games tend to have a bit less flavorful characters. Play the same corridor heavy levels over and over again gets a bit boring though sadly.

Not really. Sure Basara might have more flare but it's still just flare. There's no reason to do most of the stuff really since it's still just repeatedly whacking the same brain dead enemies over and over again. It has the options for more stuff, not not the gameplay to support it.

To give a bit more of an indepth answer; Warriors games are more focused on the strategy aspect. It's a bit of a juggling simulator where you have to cope with protecting your allies, defending your bases, and still pushing ahead at the same time, so it's much more difficult and involved than Basara. There's also a shitload of content to work through. On the other hand, this comes at the expense of the combat system which is very basic in comparison.
Basara, then, has a much more complex combat system. Every character has unique mechanics (e.g. Mitsunari can cancel any special attacks into teleports making him play much like DMC's Vergil, Magoichi has multiple movesets depending on the weapon she has equipped, Kotaro has an enormous amount of in-air actions including flight, etc). There's also cancels, improved parries and dodging, along with extra spice to the gameplay in the form of minigames and giant boss battles. But, again, this means there's less focus on the battlefield aspect - Basara's maps are very linear and there's absolutely no chance of any of your bases being taken, you just romp through the level to the finish line.
Aesthetics-wise Basara is much more silly and off-the-wall. If you like mechas, dancing samurai, and a pirate who surfs atop a rocket powered anchor, then Basara's your game.
tl;dr Basara has better gameplay, Warriors has better everything else (except aesthetics which is down to taste - h)

A berserk action game needs to be technical. Musou is not technical enough. It's at roughly 1/4th of what would be acceptable for a berserk game. Also the gameplay style does not match up. We need something a bit more sophisticated. A mix between the ps2 game and dragon's dogma will do. Then freeroam the world of berserk to gain powers from demons in any order you want while also having the complete story up until this point told by events, similar to Blood will tell on ps2.
