Why haven't they localized Dai Gyakuten Saiban? Isn't AA a rather established series in the West too, even if niche? And aren't most AA fans weeaboos anyway? Does Capcom really thing Western Edgeworth fangirls would ahve a problem with the setting in DGS? Jesus Christ, Capcom. The game probably isn't even good, but why not fucking localzie it already?
>>
Because it's a low budget commercial for the new game.
>>
>>340144045

just learn 2000 kanji already
>>
>>340144045
It's too weeb for the west.

Because fucking west Capcom thinks that we're idiots that won't like asian culture VN

Don't worry tho, they're working on a fan translation
>>
Gaijin half-wits could never understood such a game, full of deep Japanese culture.
>>
>>340144176
If AA1-3 aren't too weeb, then DGS isn't either.
>>

Doesn't it take place in London after the intro case?
>>
Because they' d have to pull a lot of shit out of their ass to explain why LA in the 1800s looks a lot like edo period japan.
>>
>>340144262

I know, but, you know Capcom
>>
>>340144297
But it's london
>>
>>340144231
AA isnt weeb but this one is weeb considering how it has a weeb main character, weeb little girls in a weeb setting.

Too much weebshit in one game.
>>

>they're working on a fan translation

Not exactly reassuring. Japanese learners usually want to work on fantranslations exactly at the point when they shouldn't.
>>
>>340144320
Then they'd have to explain why does edo period LA looks like London.
>>
>>340144323
But it takes place mostly in London.
>>
>>340144392
Well, Gyakuten Kenji 2 (second Edgeworth) game had a stellar fantranslation.

Very good job.
>>
>>340144392
Well, the team translating the game is the Fire Emblem:IF team
>>
>>340145217
What Fire Emblem IF team?
>>
>>340145356
You know, the one that translated Fire Emblem Fates/IF, and now it's on 3.0

I dunno, here's the thread of the DGS translation
