if you overlevel it really doesn't matter. The other screen will go automatically. But it's a lot easier to memorize the patterns than you might think.
Basically mash right a bunch of times, mash right but push down once, and mash right but push up once.
You just cycle through those really quickly and it builds the "power move" meter faster, which is nice because it heals you.
Really only necessary when you put yourself all the way down to like lvl 1 and chain 345624626 noise at the same time to increase drop rates, which you never would really NEED to do in the game.
