I wasn't playing anything because that week Tales of Eternia was releasing and I wanted to have a clear schedule for it, then the attacks caused all flights to be grounded for several days delaying my shipment. I was pretty pissed.
I had a really shitty PC with an Nvidia "Vanta" card and a Pentium 4 at the time, so I pretty much just emulated stuff. I do remember following the progress of Visualboy Advance around that time so I could pirate the GBA Castlevania games. Each build ran a bit faster, until I was finally able to play through Circle of the Moon without too much slowdown.
Also in school as a kid, but I was playing probably Majora's Mask or non-stop Goldeneye with my friends and brother. I don't associate that stuff with 9/11.

I was5years old, and Australian, so it didn't have much of an affect on me, I remember seeing it on the news and stuff, but I had no comprehension.
As for Vidya, not much, just browser based LEGO games at the local Internet cafe on weekends with my dad, we didn't own a computer or a console of any kind at that time.
Got a ps1 with some games Christmas that year though. Spyro, Crash and Oddworld.

No, despite my uncle and neighbor both dying in the attack (RIP) I was just a dumb 14 year old kid at the time and was happy to be home from school playing my favorite game on my PC.

Not really, no. I sometimes think about it, but for the most part no it's completely guilt free and I still enjoy it to this day.

I was on my English class on Middle School but the teacher wasn't around; when she finally came she just turned the TV on and told us that something horrible had happened in NY. I couldn't believe it, we were speechless. At that time in my life I would bring my GBC with Pokemon Blue or Silver and TLoZ DX so I guess I had those games in my backpack, but I don't really associate any vidya with 9/11.

I was playing MGS2 on Hard during the Tanker Chapter, trying to get all the dog tags. I remember cause my stepdad came in all "Hey check this out" and I was like "Cool. Did you know you can punch people in the groin to knock them out in one go?" and he sat and watched me fight those soldiers during that one forced battle in the tunnel and then left without saying much else.
Was a good day, I unlocked Stealth Camo for the Tanker Chapter, and the Brown Wig for Raiden too.
Counter-Strike. I was literally at a 201-PC that day.
