How do you handle gaming in this summer heat? It's almost unbearable to me. I play PS4 and PC and it feels like doomguy in hell in my house. What are some tricks you guys do to stay cool during these hard times.

I live in Florida and I just sit right under a ceiling fan as I play PC games. Also have the air on all the time. Still gets hot as hell. Anywhere else in the house is pretty cool. There's just no escaping it. Take your shirt off and embrace the heat.

Depending on your house, your AC will freeze in Florida if you set it below 70 degrees because it will just never fucking turn off during the day.
Some houses have better circulation. But right now, I'm in a house that really almost needs two separate units.

I live in Michigan so I'm pretty far up north and every house I see has a window AC unit, and I'm sure all the ones that don't have central air. It's only hot for 2 or 3 months out of the year.

You need air circulation no matter what.
You also need ventilation.
AC doesn't really require ventilation because it pushes heat out the back end, so it has built-in venting anyways.
Fans will work, but only so much if there isn't a way for air to reach cooler areas and return back to you.
So either open your door and have fans, preferrably floor fans pointed up so the cold air on the floor shoots up and falls over your room, turned on throughout your house.
Or buy AC.
AC costs $100 for a unit, and anywhere from $120-$300 in electricity bill.
Would you pay ~$250 to be not miserably hot? I would.
