Pre-Cata Hinterlands. Nothing there except a pointless, tedious rep grind.

Kara was a god tier raid for everyone, and the encounters set people up perfectly for later content.

>Curator showed you the importance of milking every last drop of gear you could
>Netherspite showed you how seemingly complicated things could be done easily with training
>Illhoof showed you the importance of quick reaction and retargeting
>Chess and Theater events show you to have a good laugh when needed
>Nightbane and Malchezzar test you on everything you've learned.
Something TBC nailed in general was dungeon/raid progression.
As much as I like vanilla, it did have a dungeon/early raid problem where you breezed through one moment, and then got horribly ass raped the next.
Dungeon-heroic-kara-25 was the perfect training.

I didn't care much for the rest of them. Especially Tempest Keep, Serpentshrine Cavern, and Black Temple.
Probably partially because I had come off of Warcraft III and was pissed they made Vashj, Kael, and Illidan loot pinatas. But the raids themselves didn't have as good of an aesthetic or as much of an air of mysteriousness that Karazhan did. The interiors weren't as nice to me as Karazhan's either.
Zangarmarsh is comfy.

Winterspring is my favourite Vanilla zone
Terrokar Forest was favourite in Burning Crusade
Storm Peaks in Wrath
Favorite starting zones were Teldrassil and Mulgore.
Basically anything snow or forest related.

I mean, KZ is definately the best raid but, the aesthetics of BT and SSC were awesome. I just kinda wish blood elf island wasn't so bright shit hurt my eyes for the first week
