Risk of Rain lost all the hype and Deadbolt died out pretty quick too.
The reason is that they don't have much memorable replayability. Risk of Rain has only several layouts every time where you shoot enemies, gather items and(you expected a wurm thing or waiting host thing, didn't you?)either loop or rush providence.
Deadbolt is an action platformer that can be finished in 1 hour (there's an achievement for that)
Both games lack a straight story, mostly relying on "lel so cryptic" stories as if they expect you to be veteran of the hidden game franchise
The DLC cannot save Risk of Rain, and the DLC will barely have any effect for Deadbolt either.
