i cant get motivated to play witcher 3 ;_; its just so big im 16 hours in and i play for 20 minutes and turn it off i want to get into the game and play for 100 hours but i just cant ;_; does anyone relate?

I had problem with starting Blood & Wine because
I finished game 3 times 100%, so its kinda..hard but when game started to open(around lvl.37 quests) I couldnt stop playing.
Since its a last game with Geralt ever, Im kinda honestly happy Ill retire him in Touissant whit his house,vineyard and warm climate for his old bones.
I bet he would call all other guys on Gwent or dwarven poker, enjoying wine and just chilling.
He should have at least 10-20 peaceful years until he will take "that" contract and end up dead in some cave all alone, forgotten forever by everyone(because its the fate of all Witchers at the end).

I relate, its kinda when i started playing it. I kinda thought that, geralt's run animation and the camera was quite weird. It made me not want to play the game for a while. Plus the start of the game is really slow and quite boring. But after a while i got used to it.
Just keep playing bit by bit until the game grows on you. If doesnt, then do what you think it's better.
I relate in a way, the game is just so huge and there is so much to do that I felt really overwhelmed by it. I hate that feeling tbqh, that anxiety, like I fear I'm gonna miss something. Finished it one quest at a time though and had a blast in the end.

Do you know what the inertia effect is? You experience it literally everyday of your life. Try doing what Geralt is doing in-game, you'll move and react a pretty similar way (because it was motion captured)

Don't bother, I forced myself to play through this turd for the 100 hours that it took and ended up regretting it. In fact, the game just gets worse as it goes on, the difficulty completely dies after you reach Novigrad (even on death march), the combat never gets better and the side quests mostly all end up being the same "use your witcher vision" casual hand holding nonsense. Even the much praised story didn't end up amounting to much and nothing in the game is ever able to top the writing in the bloody baron questline, the ending confrontation in particular is very anticlimactic.
This game getting the praise that it gets on here, leads me to believe that there are a ton of inbred slavs on this board, since I can't see anyone with good taste liking this game.

This was probably the most tedious redundancy about this game apart from constantly having to run to a chest to offload all your shit into it to free up inventory space. Your weapon gets weak as fuck way too quickly for no apparent reason. It's makes the weapon durability in Dead Rising seem like a lifetime. Can you imagine if you constantly ran out of gas in any GTA game every 35 in-game miles traveled? And then constantly having to seek out a gas station to fill up? Can you imagine how frustrating and repetitive that would get after awhile? That's how the weapon durability in Witcher 3 feels.

had the same experience with it, OP. just sold it for dark souls 3. i beat the game but it took about 8 months because i just couldnt get into it very often. when i did get into it, though, i would play it for hours at a time. have you been to novigrad or done the bloody baron questline? those are the two things that really solidified my interest in the world/storyline.
