I don't know what I even expected when I tried the demo. I tried to actually figure out what I was supposed to do for about 5 minutes then just got in a tractor and drove for 2 more minutes and deleted it

Started in a menu that let me choose which rifle to use and what equipment I wanted to bring, but the only thing that could be changed was the rifle. Second Rifle had to be unlocked despite it only beinga one-mission demo.Wandered through some shitty looking grass that went from green to yellow instantly for no reason for 20 minutes looking for something to shoot. I thought I saw a deer in the distance and took a shot, turned out to be a poorly rendered tree that only actually looked like a tree once I got close enough. After an hour or going through this mess and my friend cracking up at how bad of a time I was having, I found an actual deer and killed it. The mission ended immediately, telling me I lost because that deer was apparently female and I can't shoot them.
Probably ghostbusters for NES. I rented it as a kid and the copy didn't have an instruction manual. When I played it, i thought the cart was broken and returned it a day later. Years later, when YouTube came about, I looked it up and discovered it wasn't broken, it was just a fucking awful game.

I bought it on release day because all my friends who played the beta went on about how cool it is, I liked Crackdown, great character creation system, and I thought the custom playlist in the car that everyone could hear was pretty fucking neato.
I was a fucking con. It advertised 100 player servers but really it was a matchmaking lobby for 4vs4 games. You couldn't even kill enemy players unless you were "deployed" to them.
Not to mention they shut the servers two months after release date because it sucked so hard.

I still completed it. It still annoys me to this day that I got every achievement bar one. You had to kill three particular enemies with one grenade launcher shot. The only problem being the particular enemies are at the end of the last level in the boss arena which means you have to carry a grenade launcher and never use it to even have a chance of getting the achievement. Even then the enemies rarely grouped up. Did I mention that you can only carry two weapons?

I love shooters. CS:GO and Halo 3 are probably the games I have the most hours in. I even love RPG shooters like Fallout 3.

I bought Hatred the day it came out so I could form a solid opinion of it separate from all the hype and bullshit.
I liked how the destruction physics looked in the trailer too, so i figured i'd get something fun.
But honestly, fuck Hatred. It was so boring and repetitive and just stupid. A good comparison is the original Hotline Miami, both try to be hyperviolent shooters. But while HM's gameplay has "flow", Hatred was just a slog through boring bullshit, and the graphics made it hard to tell what the fuck things were sometimes.
Hopefully they learn and make a sequel that's more fun but considering the stupid amount of praise it got from people some groups in the gaming community i doubt it.
