I wouldn't say it is better than 4 since 4 had a better inventory system and weapon upgrades were more enjoyable than the skill system in 6. You also got to unlock crazy stuff to run through the story with.
It is definitely better than 5 though, and anyone that tries to argue otherwise is a mong.

The best I can hope for is something that takes more queues frp, the Revelations games and actually makes them... good. Both Revelations felt far too held back by their obviously shit budgets. And "Raid mode" is total wank.

When I realized RE dropped the horror aspect with 4 and wanted to admit it. Also, co-op is now an integral part of the formula and playing solo is not how 5 and 6 were envisioned in the end. Only thing I really did not like in 6 was the level design, but that can be improved upon.

Yes, and most were crap. None of them even have multiple firing modes. Where is the AR with an underslung grenade launcher? Where are the dual pistols? Where are the weapons every other shooter has had for more than 10 years.

The generic zombies are worse than the zombies in Leon's campaign, the gun zombies are worse than J'avo.

All the bosses besides Wesker and Jill were crap in 5. You don't even really fight the Gigante knock off on 5, you kill it in a vehicle section. While the bosses in 6 were not great, they were definitely better than the trash in 5.

Subjective. Additionally, playing without co-op is much worse as your partner tends to get in the way and waste ammo and healing supplies.

It's most certainly not a better game by any stretch but I'd be lying if I said the combat wasn't the best of the series.
RE4 is literally the only thing I could consider a "perfect" game at the time of it's release and still holds up today. Perfect balance of pacing, horror elements mixed with action, whimsy, and the best atmosphere of any RE title to date. They couldn't have done better if they tried.

Since the base majini and the j'avo are the exact same enemy its a tie, other than that the town and tribal majini are cooler than the RE4 ganados and you can't even compare them to zombies because its apples to oranges. However, RE6 zombies are worse compared to classic RE zombies.
>Bosses
The RE6 bosses are irritating and not fun at all. RE5's aren't better by much but the first 2 ouroboros, U-8, Executioner, and Wesker/Jill were fun and memorable as apposed to the Nemesis rip off, Deborah, and zombie dinosaur.

Co-op was more fun get over it. You can't complain that your AI partner "wastes" health items trying heal you whenever your in need and you are also implying that sheva wasn't a fucking surgeon with a sniper rifle...

If you would like to disregard them then fine, however if you compare them to RE6's DLC, RE5 comes out on top again.
