warhammer 40k game 3rd person open world tactical shooter playing as lowly soldiers in the imperial gaurd. Trying your best to hold the line and then get one shottied by daka. Camera then zoons across the battlefield to another IG soldier and you play as him.
Battle is worldwide with various objectives to take on. each objective completed gives your squad upgrades and such.
Random events happen that can shift the tide of war in either your favor or disfavor.
survive long enough and your character gets specializations, promotions and such.
die while being slecialized ? yoi get one more chance to survive longer.
die a third time? downgraded to a no body. welp, not all is lost . wanna drive a tank? then specialize in that.
really, everytime you die you get to experience almost every roll the IG has to offer.
Hell, you get to serve the Inquisition if you.. err are suitable to their mission.

.hack game that isn't mobile shit or a fighting game, preferably with a model similar to what Destiny has now where you buy the base game and they could just keep adding installments like they did with G.U/Quadrilogy.
To a much lesser extent a .hack MMO because they'd fuck it up and MMOs are mostly dead now anyways.

Yeah, feels like it's truly over for .hack. I heard it's popular in Japan still though so who knows. I know they're doing a crossover SAO game on Mobile as well I think.
