I just didn't really like the progression. It's hard to put my finger on, really, because the production values are top notch...
As I was listening it I just found a lot of jarring shifts in tone mid-song that didn't really seem to flow. Just as I was getting into it suddenly it's suddenly totally different and it didn't ease into it enough. I wish he would've made the songs longer and done more gradual transitions. It's like, I'm just getting into this crescendo and suddenly it's the denouement and I don't know how we got there and I've got blue balls.
