Its more balanced than in the other games since you can heal and parrying is a lot easier.

Invading with a normal-ass character is really hard. Fromsoft wants you to build your character around a 1v3 situation at a very low SL and gear level, memorize where all the items in the fucking world are (or use a guide), and beat difficult bosses just to get a hornet ring or some other advantage over a normal player.
