I'm hoping maybe Nintendo will mention it around E3. First got suddenly announced a week or two before E3 in a mini-Direct.
If that fails maybe either the 3DS or Vita version will get a fan translation someday.

Technically you might be able to solve it now, modded N3DS can use NTR to use the full power of the device on older games. Fixes frame-rate in a lot of games.
I haven't tried it with W because I played it before it was a thing. Should give that one a shot.

I only have the Vita version, which had other problems itself like somehow getting drops I didn't remember the PSP one getting in cutscenes, but it's worth a try for the 3DS one.
