I really liked FFTA. I think both it and FFT are around the same level of quality, and that is a good level of quality.

Tactics Ogre LUCT directed by the same guy had a better story. But the classes weren't as developped. But I'd argue that it is better and more challengingand balanced than FFT. In FFT outside of the beginning and the Wiegraf fight, you usually roll ont the game.
