Played 150 or more turns as Orks, I finished Chaos and tried to push to the empire like a retard with my remaining forces, using the underway every turn is fucking tedious so I marched all the way over and I lost, naturally. I started a new campaign as the Empire and realized that I could of went to the mountains to the west and set up shop there to conquer the empire.
If I ever play the orks again, I'll know to do that. But is there word for when the next FREELC comes in? I haven't heard anything. It seems like Britannia was meant to be in the game on release, the npcs are even called Bretannia or w/e.

Breezing through my Orc campaign. Secured the southeast part of the map and now im making my move on the VC. It was a huge bitch taking out the dwarves, since i managed to piss them all off too early and they ganged up on me
Chasing Archaeon the ever coward around the map so I can finally win the campaign, but thanks to force march and agents with zero success chance it is proving very frustrating.

Beat my Greenskin one a few days ago, took 380 turns or so. Haven't started another yet, didn't want to get burnt out since that first one was about 50 hours. I actually hate the Dwarves so much now from it that I don't think I'll ever even play them.

Finished all other factions except Dwarves I'm doing right now. My first game with them. Honestly, most comfy starting position ever. Was able to get first province in two turns. Then after 10 or something turns I was pushed into constant war with every fucking orc tribe in game. Pushed them back, but fuck those Top Knotz fucks.
Thinking about starting again, since my economy is pretty much fucked and I'm still using starting tier units.

Pretty good at 150 turns with Dwarfs. I'm new to the series and apparently suck. I gave up with Empire after Chaos ran me over.
Dwarves are fucking ez mode in the campaign so far though

Can someone explain how Capital Cities and Sieges work?
I had one faction down to 1 city. All they do is afk in their capital. I try to attack but always extremely unfavourable with 20 units. So I siege for about 3/4 turns and they eventually come out and I have to retreat.
Do I just have to throw multiple armies at them?

You might have lot weaker units than they have in garrison. Garrison units tend to be lot stronger early than units up for recruitment.

Thing with Chaos is they spawn no where near you. So as long as you deal with the heroes all you have to do is bunker down

If it was turn 50 it's only the first wave, they usually get destroyed by AI.
They're supposed to have three games altogether of this, right? I suppose it would have the same format of Rome 2 -> Atilla -> Charlemagne.

Playing as empire, around 200 turns in. Thanks to the shield of civilization i am confederating all the provinces one after the other. Wounded archaon at Kislev but he's come back stronger than ever. Killed his master of change tho.
The greenskins have killed off the dwarves but they've left me alone so far. Vampires are stll relegated in sylvania, but have giant armies so i keep an unstable peace.
Currently mustering my armies to face archaon a second time, while sending all my warrior priests and witch hunter in vampire land to reduce vampiric corruption before invading.
I'll leave the greenskins well alone for now, they dominate all the world edge mountains and i don't want to fae them while the vampires live

At 170 turns with The Empire on Hard.
I have 5 active armies and half a million gold, so I guess that's going pretty good. Just finished off the Vampire counts. They put up a serious fight though.
At the start I had a lot of internal conflict with other Humans, namely Wissenland and Averland. Also a Dwarven clan united with the Greenskins to try and wipe me out.
As soon as I finished dealing with the other Humans, Chaos rocks up on my borders after cutting a path through the northern empires direcctly to me.
I managed to hold them back somehow, and after that everyone wanted to be my best friend all of a sudden.
One thing I've noticed is that if I'm outmatched in a battle, I have almost no chance of winning. When I played Dwarves and Vampire Counts (although this was on Normal), I could always secure a win against a force twice my size. Maybe I'm not so adept with Empire strategies.
