I do. Some old buddies and I do it every few months or so when everyone can get away for a long sunday. Getting old with families and responsibilities sucks.
We normally play something like counterstrike or empire earth, aoe2, etc. Or whatever is newer, multiplayer, and good.

I just started another game of civ with my australian + canadian friends, its pretty good t.b.h.
I host some myself with my friends, usually one every 3 months. I'm in charge of hosting the Summer Tournament/LAN. This was last year's, we're having another this year in July.
My friend brings his desktop to my house when he visits.
We just played some TW: Warhammer on the local area network.
That counts as a LAN party, right?
