It would be nice if Mario Party games came with an option to eliminate random chance games from the roulettes. I mean, I know why they're in the game at all, because they're exciting and unpredictable, but it can be some real bullshit sometimes.
I'm fine with board events and dice rolls and chance time and everything else being random, but at least leave minigames to pure skill.

It's a blast if you have some friends or a sibling or something. And even if you don't, all of the MPs starting from 3 (and not counting 9 and 10) have a singleplayer story mode, which is fine enough on its own.
Minigame Island was the coolest shit as a kid, it was almost like a game within a game because there was an overworld map and everything.

Sure random minigames can be an upset if you're a competitive type, but removing the "feel bad" moments is part of the reason Mario Party games have become the schlock they are today.
