Speaking as someone who went with Triss because I stuck with her throughout TW2:
Yen is the better choice. Yes she's a bit of a cunt, but later in the game she really goes out of her way to help Geralt and Ciri despite her heartbreak if you dump her.
If you dump Triss she fucks off on a boat forever. She truly does not give a fuck about Ciri and just wants Geralt to stuff her.
Triss also wants Geralt to give up being a Witcher.
