I've played lords of shadow 1 and it wasn't a bad game, yes it could be a better beat them all but it has many positive things to tell about it.
I think people don't like it because it was the last attempt of the franchise and it didn't sell well and was so different of what we used to know.

I understand you would think that. But personally I was surprised that turning a game upside down changes so much. It was a really easy way for them to put in more content to work through. They did not recycle the bosses, and the 2nd castle is full of items and relics.
The game is too easy. But there are solutions.
1) Playing on luck mode.
2) Don't pick up hp max ups.
