Which Tenchu game is your favorite, /v/?
Literally thought shes a fairy on top of a leather case book.
Wrath of Heaven is still my favorite in the series. Everything that followed just felt like a listless attempt.

From multiple story arcs to the unique multiplayer mode, it was truly a masterpiece in it's own right. I'd give my entire PS2 collection just to have a playable remake in HD.

Tenchu Z would be my second favorite. While making your own ninja and outfitting them was fun, the bosses sucked donkey dick and the reuse of the same 6 or 7 levels 5 - 8 times each really dragged it down.

I enjoyed it a lot, but they reused the same levels so many times. Changing enemy placement can only add so much of a challenge, when say the best way to infiltrate the inn is always to take out the guard outside, jump from the wall to the roof of the store house, then jump to the roof of the inn and go in the vent, where you can take everyone out systematically no matter the enemy placement.

Used to play the multiplayer with my brother and sister. If I remember right it had pretty much every character from the series to that point, and the single player was fun too.

I loved the concept but the novelty wears off fast. I put it down after about 5 hours and never touched it again. I tried the WoH re-release on Xbox but it wasn't near as good as the original PS2 release.

Oh, so you never got ot the last boss in Z? Want to know the best way to defeat him?He's a fucking samurai, so good luck beating him one on one. Cinematic plays, so no stealth kill. Best ways to fight him are either cheese him with grenades, or kill him with fall damage as he chases you off the roof. Not even exaggerating.

I liked Z a lot but I'm a sucker for character customization and co-op.
