A better question is, why are fans of other franchises so silent as IP after IP is transformed from a creative, interesting series into a soulless cash milker. This isn't even the kind of shit that EA or Activision does, where they just churn out a garbage game for a quick buck every year under than name of something that we remember USED to be good.
