Well okay:
Most people learn color theory after physiology, but you did it in reverse: Your coloring and shading is pretty good but your physiology is at a "MMO Webcomic" level. That's not an insult, that's just the closest I can come to a point of reference.
Something about the head/face is throwing it off. I'm hoping there's another art critic in the audience, because the best I can say is that it feels like it's half-way between Chibi and Caricature, but doesn't fit into either. If Chibi, the rest of the body is too big and not over-stylized enough, if caricature, the head is too big or not detailed enough to fit with the rest of the body.
It's not terrible, you're getting places. Keep refining.

I'd like to see you try a more "realistic" drawing. Something like a man standing at a table, just to gauge how your sense of perspective. Not like a still life or anything, just "Dude at table".And for what it's worth, I ain't not art specialist or shit, I just read the Armchair Artist books. But a lot of my friends are artists and it seems like there are two ways they tend to go if they stick with it: The accidentally into perspective and become the 'group artist', or they find a comfortable style and just keep refining that without actually 'catching' the rules. It's how you get people who draw very detailed but also incredibly flat art.not to imply your art is flat or anything. Thanks anon, your advice means a lot. You made me realise I haven't actually done much with perspective. All I've really done is draw a load of characters and creatures, but never really done proper 'drawings' with them interacting with objects other than held weapons and the such, so to speak. That'll have to be my next area to improve on.
My default style is cartoony, I can't do realism for shit, so cartoons give me a lot of leeway into getting things done in a simplified manner that still looks alright

Basically everything everyone else has said/is going to say, and what you are already doing-- drawing what you see.
I would add that for people and animals, you should study basic anatomy (very basic) just you can get a good feel for what goes where. It doesn't matter so much for cartoony or heavily stylized characters, but if you're trying to draw realistically, knowing where everything should be helps you from drawing things that are... uncanny valley.
For buildings and other stuff, just look at it and think about where you would outline things-- edges, corners, details, things like that. And shapes. Shapes are very important.
Also, don't be afraid to do stupid doodles. They can sometimes turn into great things, and even if they don't they're good practice.

That's because Photoshop uses raster imaging, meaning that the lines pick up things like subtle mouse movements and the like, as well as the brush tool working differently, making lines appear more jagged and jerky
SAI probably uses vector imaging, which smooths the lines and refines it into a more nice shape

You might want to get yourself a technical pen for those kind of drawings. Don't go over the lines multiple times. Learn perspective and how to represent volumetry, and you should probably consider getting a more interesting subject, or at least a spot where you can show a proper space and not just a random cutout.
