Did they change something? Last I played, WoD totally butchered the quick playstyle WW had in exchange for some slow boring piece of shit that ran out of energy after 2 punches. Last time I checked I saw they gutted Storm/Earth/Fire which was really fucking stupid. Unless they have done two reversals the spec is complete garbage compared to what it was during MoP.

In vanilla when they said "fuck it", mages were top because raw dmg output was offsetting not being able to move.
Now, with every class optimized, the winner will always, ALWAYS be the pure dps one not adjusted for "utility" spells that can damage while moving.

Balancing allows for one class to have very high damage, so long as its utility is lacking and other classes can pick up slack.

Arms has been reduced to literally 3 buttons. You hit Colossus Smash, you hit Mortal Strike, then you spam Slam until Colossus Smash comes off of cooldown. It absolutely blows me away that there are people at Blizzard who think this is compelling game design, especially when there have been fun and engaging versions of the spec in the past.

even if blizzard was ever able to achieve actual class balance, there would still always be minor differences in damage, so what you are saying will never ever happen
and if people are talking about class balance, they are not thinking of things like support classes, they would just want all dps to do the same damage, but support wouldn't be dps so they wouldn't even be relevant

DKs are boring as shit if you play frost. Unholy BoS build is a lot more fun and actually requires some kind of attention from you as a player to to dps compared to Frost DK that is essentially spamming frost strike when you have 90 runic power.

If I was to play again, it would be Enhancement Shaman. I like a lot of the changes they made, that and they brought back the old Windfury totem. Shame it's a PvP talent, though.
