Haven't heard from this game in ages for some reason,
Are they still developing it? is it finished?
>Are they still developing it?
Do you count months of nothing but promises as 'developing', sure
>Is it finished?
No, and it won't ever be.

They will be updating the game to the .60 version which has a new renderer and generally better performance

Is it in a ''Playable'' state right now?
Last time I played it the animations were still choppy as fuck.

Depends on your definition of playable
High end rigs will still struggle to maintain 30fps in many areas
It's loaded to the brim with bugs
They haven't changed much at all since it first launched more than a year ago.

ETA: Never
Rust had better development, I should've bought that instead
>>339951961
I fucking hope they just kill it off.

Eternal Alpha, I hate this shit so much, fuck you valve.
>>339953013
Rust HAS better development
Its worth the buy

>High end rigs will still struggle to maintain 30fps in many areas

Just like I played it in 2014 noice

>High end rigs will still struggle to maintain 30fps in many areas
They STRIVE for 30fps in resource intense areas.
Think about that.
Summit1g has been shilling this game hard recently for some reason.

It's in experimental, I tried it recently. Loading is a lot faster, I never had fps issues before but my friend that did said it was better on his computer, but the inventory is more finicky than it was before and slower to respond. Other than that it's pretty much the same.
