C&C 3, RA 3, BFME games all exist because EA believed in the franchise and they made them at negligible income because the CEO was a fan.
The only real fuck up was the clusterfuck of C&C 4 right after they changed CEOs and the new fucker in charge wanted to make a quick buck on the fans because C&C games were bleeding money.
Heck, they tried to revive it a second time with Generals 2 and gave those idiots at Victory a budge to make an AAA game TWICE for fuck's sake (once the original game, once the F2P remake of it).
