Nah, remakes tend to take away what made the game good in the first place. Very rarely will it be simply a graphical update and when they start to fuck about with game mechanics it starts to lose it's flavour.

I'd actually compare it to the Ratchet and Clank remake, if you played them side by side they are very different both in story and gameplay.
