I was so excited for 4U that I was counting down the days and could hardly play other games. For whatever reason I'm not feeling the hype right now. Maybe it simply hasn't been long enough since I finally put 4U down.
Can somebody tell me why this is the "best" Monster Hunter? I loved MH4U. I'm considering upgrading to a New 3DS XL for this.

If you are talking about Ferocious monsters then I guess? As a gunner it's one-shots from basically everything and as a blademaster I've had nasty damage done to me. I fought the Ferocious Rajang event with someone else on /mhg/ and the back-hops were doing 60% of my HP at around 400 defense
