I got DarkSouls3 for the PS4 even though I could run it at 60fps on PC, and after all the shit the PC version went through I don't regret it one bit. My prediction was true.

It's only $350 and most people already have TVs so they don't need to buy anything else, while buying a new PC with a monitor and a decent keyboard and mouse and even a desk if you don't have one costs more than $350 (I had to spend almost as much as a console just on the desk + monitor + KB&M just to get into PC gaming)
It doubles as a media center box for people who don't already have a "smart" TV
You can still buy physical copies of games, which is useful for people with shit internet

I have a great pc, but there are too many games that I need consoles to play. I have money and I play a lot of games. I'm not going to wait for ports.
I also don't have much reason to ask for ports because I don't play shitty games. When a game is 1080/60 on ps4, why would I want a port? Sure, my pc can do more, but why do I need more than that? 4k/128 is a meme. Maybe I'll care a decade from now when gpus are good enough.
But yeah, no matter how many games there are, pc fanboys just can't justify owning a console. Keep begging for ports, maybe one day you'll realize it's better to play video games than post on forums.
