For zombie game, it's surprisingly fun and a bit fresh despite it's flaws. I heard zombie labs was going to make the sequel a mmo which disappoints to no end.

This tedious collectables gathering and quest fetching shit you have to do is the Ubisoft way to prolong 60 dollar 15 hour game length to ~100 hours so the critics and the players would stop whining about short games. Totally wrong approach. But surprisingly it works and adds a whole lot variety and fun when there is only like 5 quests instead of 50 and 20 collectables instead of 200+

I wish Ubisoft would see this somehow, how fucking wrong they are. If you want to prolong the game length you should add some fun challenge or trial mode in your singleplayer campaign, something that gives the player actual gameplay and makes him clock the played time by trying again to complete it, but that's ableist approach catered to people who enjoy gameplay, what about those who can't play? Collectables and fetch quests are the most safe and unoffensive way to prolong game length. Gggggghhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrr
But there is way! Make it like FOB missions in MGSV, where if you play like trash you just grind to your objective and if you have the skill you go directly for the big price with much higher risk of failure but also high reward. But Ubisoft would probably think that this is still ableist somehow.

Gameplay is very far from perfect, backtracking is a huge chore. But aesthetics and the world, that is crafted as one big horror and monster movie homage makes up for it.
This little gem right here. Combat is pretty simple and the story is hardly original, but holy good God was this fun as fuck to play. I actually just found it at the local game store about a week ago and bought it for nostalgia's sake and still enjoyed the hell out of it.

I remember being hype as fuck for this game due to.all the good word of mouth it got when it came out, I even played the demo, but $20 is real steep and by the time it went half-off, all the issues had come to light. Bought it on 360, but was pissed there was already a PC port by the time I got to play it.
