There could also be an asymmetrical mode where two "evil" characters lead a bunch of AI Talon operatives against a 4 or 6 man team of "good" heroes.

The characters being cliches is part of the point. You get to see all kinds of archetypal characters from fantasy and sci-fi duke it out in the arena.

I really liked this game in the beginning and had fun times. But now that I'm level 30 I must admit that the times I get angry are growing. I either end up playing against 6 man stacks or have absolute gutter trash teammates. Is there any hope left to enjoy this game as solo? I don't think it's fair for a coordinated 6 man stack to play against teams made of solo/duo guys
