That's not true at all Burning Blood is solid and really competent. It doesn't play anything like J-Stars and that comparison is a sign of someone who either hasn't played it or is trying to be extremely reductive. J-Stars is the shallowest arena fighter to have been released in the last 10 years and I really hate that it got localized because now when people want to shit on an arena fighter they haven't played just start calling it j-stars which is a worse insult than calling something shit. It's like people were calling Jojo Eyes of Heaven J-Stars with Jojo characters when that's not the case either. The flaws of this game lay in certain supports and the short story mode and small balancing issues. Obviously I'm not gonna convince anyone otherwise it's hard to change people's minds when they're dead set on something but I just wanted to state my case. This is a good game despite people complaining about it's roster

The game is really bad man. I do like that they made the Logai users able to go invincible but it doesn't match up with the characters who canon use haki attacks. The crews that joined the Strawhat alliance as far as we are concerned are just as significant if not moreso than the crews behind Whitebeard during Marineford. They're not super powerful ace crews like Luffy's who can take down a shichibukai, but they're crews who are strong enough to make it to the New World nonetheless.
The are significant if only for the inevitable giant battle that will come to in the last act of the series, when everything comes to a head and all of Luffy's past allies come to unite against Blackbeard/Akainu/who ever, etc etc. They're there to lend gravitas.
