Hey /a/, I don't watch much anime but there was this one anime I really liked that I saw a while back. The main character was in school (probably around the 10-15 age range) and he had a power that nobody else had. He also had a rival who was kinda cold and an asshole. There was also a girl with a reddish color scheme who was possibly infatuated with the main character. There was also his mentor who was kinda playful but also was able to get serious when it called for it. He also had a goofy friend who was quirky and facefaulted a lot. I also remember that one of his family members died before the show started. Also the OP had the characters running and a shot that panned up the the sky. The ending shows the characters standing on a colorful background.
