while blood and wine's main story doesn't quite meet the heights that HOS estalished i think the side quests and contracts are some of the best ever added to the game. quite a lot of varied gameplay going on which i'm really liking.

There wasn't really anything special about him. He's your typical trickster/wishgranter that will fuck you up if you make deals with him so the best thing you can do is just not deal with him at all and walk the other way and not mess with him. Some are too greedy or stupid to realize that. He's the amalgamation of various devil myths with a name that definitely references The Dark Tower.
