Could you be any more vague? There's more than one way to enjoy yourself, some of them are less stress-inducing than others.
For example, AoE3 is more focused on building your city and trqding with your capital, overall its a rather comfortable experience.
Meanwhile games like Dawn of War practically require you to be Korean with their micromanagement aspects.

I have no idea why this was panned by the critics. It's not perfect, but it's a great Tomb Raider clone with some nifty mechanics and upgrade system. Came out in 2004, too.

This gem. Just finished the last expansion finally. What a journey it has been. Sure the game is very rough around the edges and despite being titled Spellforce, most magic in it is actually useless, but the scope of it, the freedom of character building and actually being able to take a walk among the units you have created or the cities you have built in third person - watch the workers actually work performing correct animations - all of it was just so damn immersive.

Universe at War: Earth Assault
Top notch strategy game with some really interesting factions and heroes and special abilities. From memory, the red aliens base was like a giant tank that you could spec to build with or attack with. These blue guys could teleport places with these special things they could st up/build. Can't remember the last factions defining feature, been so long. The storyline was actually really good as well. Can't buy it from Steam anymore because it went when GFWL went down but I heavily recommend a look. You can download it for free extremely easily and its like 2 quid of Amazon.
