I'm a sucker for those Zelda trailers. They used it on the Ocarina of Time TV commercial, and a Wind Waker teaser as well. Then they recreated the OoT TV commercial with shots from the 3D remaster and it was glorious. Hoping they do that again with Zelda U/NX

Visually that looked really great.
It's darker and seems to have an atmosphere similar to majoras mask which is great.
I think even the wolf shit could have worked if done properly but as it is now it's just eye of truth and a shovel rolled into one which only brings more limitations to both by forcing you to transform into a wolf.
They should have had wolf link play way differently and actually have a whole new set of side quests just for wolf link where you help out animals and go to places where normal link can't go. There's some of that in the game now but it's really bare bones.
Also the transformation should have been an item and you should have been able to combo in and out of wolf link -mode, which would have made the combat way more interesting.

I more got the impression it just cut a load for time. The Twilight clearly should have been a proper dual-worlds mechanic rather than just something you go into to hunt bugs and then never see again.

Twilight Princess looks like a Snyder film. And considering the game's length it gets really tiresome.
TP is still my favourite Zelda and has been since the GC launch of it. Played it so many times because I can't get enough of those environments, the soundtrack, the Twili realm, Midna, an actual developed combat system, and of course the Zora tunic just to name a few.

Midna was good. What possessed them to go from that to Fi I have no idea, she was the one thing in TP that actually definitively worked.
Having options in combat was nice, too, if only you ever actually needed them. Even the bosses were pushovers, I think from a combination of having hardly any attack patterns and persisting with the three-and-done pattern despite most of them being stunnable at any time.

I didn't mind using Wolf Link for some of the puzzles, but the sections with the bug hunts were just fucking awful.
