I'm playing P4G right now and I've been picking up every social link I can and trying to spend time with everyone. It was fine at first, but it's getting a bit overwhelming, I think I've got 10 right now, not even half of the number in the game. I think I got about 10 in Persona 3 as well before I stopped myself.
So what are some of the more interesting social links in P4G? I'll do Marie's for sure just because it unlocks an extra dungeon and ending, and all of my party member's and Rise's because I like their's so far and because battle bonuses.

Everyone is different from each other in SEES. Just like how everyone is different from each other in IT and soon to be Phantom Thieves. But for the qualities she has, they're still something. She is a very nice girl and her dedication to helping others is good.

Saki's Brother, is a really good one personally speaking, and is worth checking out in my opinion. both Dojima and Nanako are also very well worth checking out but they have a bit of a timer, so the sooner the better These are some for now. These are all IMO at the moment.

Definitely going for the fox, Adachi, Dojima, and Nanako, in addition to the party social links. Even if I do try to cut down or stop collecting them, I'll end up with somewhat more than Persona 3 probably. I didn't like most of Persona 3's social links, only a few of what I did interested me. I'm liking most of the ones I've got in Persona 4 though.

Well I wish you the best. Naoki Konishi like I said is a really good one, as the way he develops and how it ends is really nice. Hisano Kuroda who is the old lady is also really good, but you need to do the Nurse's Social Link to at least Rank 4, before getting the opportunity to see her. Ai is also a good Social Link due to the amount of Character Development she gets, as she transforms significantly over the course of it and it is slightly different. The remaining ones while not bad, weren't for me personally. Between the Strengths I preferred Kou over Daisuke, and Sun is more about personal preference over the kind of struggle you feel is better. Forgiveness or to not have the capability to do something.

They never explain why, but my guess is that since battle personas need high amounts of stress to defend the user from danger in combat and Fuuka's persona has no combat abillities she doesn't need the evoker to induce that stress unto her, she just focuses.

Amaturish voice acting that felt like bad casting to me vs. bland, generic voice acting.
They're both bad in very different ways. The former gave her a more unique, recognizable character, but it obscured Fuuka's essence for me until I thought to look up her Japanese performance and see what it was like. I always understood what Atlus was going for with Fuuka's character, but Tiso's performance hurt her so much for me that I simply assumed Atlus missed their mark, and by a fairly wide margin at that. It wasn't until I heard the original performance that I realized I was wrong, and that Fuuka is (to make a clumsy comparison) essentially Hinata Hyuga. That's about as high of a compliment as I can give for that character archetype, even if that character comes from middling to bad source material.
Wendee Lee's performance is simply bland, as I said. It's serviceable, like McDonalds at 2:00 AM. It fills a void and it's familiar enough to keep you from being completely upset, but you know there must have been something better and more fitting out there if you had looked harder. The key difference is that while you can put in that extra effort at 2:00 AM to find something better than McDonalds you can't FORCE Atlus USA to cast someone who fits Fuuka better than Lee.

When i saw that Haruhi's VA was gonna voice Fuuka i knew it would end up badly.
And lo and behold, it did.
Wendee Lee takes away Fuuka's gentle and careful tone and replaces it with a spunky one, It's way too unfitting for her.

Really? I thought Paula Tiso was closer in comparison to her Japanese voice actor compared to Wendee Lee at least, but for whatever reason the lows that people rag on are present, in her performance. Maybe they shouldn't have have made the character constantly speak, since in PQ, navigator dialogue is reduced in comparison.
