TF4 had the excellent idea to combine progressive jazz (for the stages) and heavy metal (for the bosses) into a really memorable soundtrack. The game is Technosoft at their peak.

SNES music is cheesy, Genesis music is raw.

SNES is only "better" because most composers didn't know how to manage the blast processing power of the Genesis, leading to armadas of robo fart banana slipping shit.

However, those who did were able to embrace it's power were able to forge GOAT soundtracks.
