Why would anyone ever want to play the disaster that is Street Fighter 5 when they could play Guilty Gear Xrd?
I can't figure it out. SF5 is a bad game, both for competitive and casual players. Is it just a form of brand loyalty? Surely people don't actually prefer the dumbed-down gameplay of SFV.

I don't play either because I'm not good at fighting games and I have no friends to drive me to get better.
after transitioning from skullgirls to sfv I mostly just appreciate that it's slower paced and gives me time for strategizing and neutral
