Would any devfags consider making a more user-friendly version of 0.54 maybe with more features which is better than the shitty newer versions? I've been playing .54 with /v/ for a long time, and there's a reason it keeps coming up for matches. But there's always suggestions for new stuff, better netcode, easier configuration. I'd be up for working on something new, but I just don't have time.

"doing the same thing over and over" describes playing the same 1-2 "good" prebuilt maps over and over way more than it does playing on randomly generated maps
additionally, what makes AOS good is entirely reliant on the meta caused by the generated maps, as they are the most open to both building and tunneling and play into the rifle that has longer range then the player does much better
If you want to play on pregen maps you're basically turning the game into a shitty FPS because you can't afford actual good ones in which case you need to fuck off
