It's a fun game but it lacks longevity and content. It's a fun pick up and play with friends. Other than that nothing really different from tf2.
The player pool might end up stagnating since there are too many casuals sticking to a main, or a perfered role. It's the MMO problem all over again, too many dps, not enough tanks and healers.
Do you guys have any fucking clue how much of a blessing 7/10 can be for a good game, yet for "bad game" it's a curse? Battleborn deserves 7 because it's bad, nothing higher would be good. Freelancer is okay game, but it's good, totally 7 material. No, they're not. BB has some serious issues with matchmaking, fps problems (OW runs good but BB has FPS issues even of ppl's high end nvidya cards). The devs took 3 weeks to balance a hero that's more broken than any hero on first week (which usually gets fixed after a week). There's bunch of shit with the game I also don't like, maps are small, the gameplay is slow as fuck, hitting enemies with your weapon (as opposed to using your skills only) deals very little damage most cases, it's not the shooter it was tried to market, it's just a first person moba, a really bad one since there's only 1 map to play (Overgrowth, echelon is either not as good or ppl not vote for it, capture gamemode is 10000X better on TF and OW, meltdown is ok) .... the game is pure shit, only good is item system (which I wish more games had) and base vs base element of incursion/overgrowth (which I wish OW had too) . Overall, it's very bad game in many ways though imo, I kind of wish it dies so the community of that game could peacefully move to sucking gearbox cock in borderlands 3 when it comes out..

It has more competitive classes than TF2, TF2 you either play demo/scout/soldier/medic on comp, that's 4 fucking classes out of total 9. Well yes, you could run through irc to get a team, but you couldn't use seach for players / team up with 2 buddies and get rest as randoms, you had to have full team of 12 players for a game.

This is also true, I don't like csgo. What makes this game unique though is that it's not as tryhard as quake , yet not as twitch as csgo either, you have the abilities of the heroes to kind even the playing field so to speak. The variety of good maps in the game also help me enjoy the game.

All of their top current games went on sale a year after their initial release. If the pattern persist, it'll happen again. Incidentally, I believe Overwatch is the best game they have churned out in the last 8 years. Starcraft 2 went full retard, Diablo 3 went full jew, Heroes Of The Storm is self explained and.... oh wow, they really have nothing besides Overwatch.

I usually like his reviews, but I have to disagree with this one.
He says that, many outlets will give it a good score because its a blizzard game, and that they wont talk about the issues with it, but the exact opposite also happens, people think "im gonna be the original guy who will bash this game because everyone will be shilling it"
and then he just complains about the content, not the gameplay itself. not everyone plays to even unlock the shit, some play for fun and to get better.
many people will easily clock in 20+ hours into the game in the first week, those are more hours than most AAA releases.

He has a point about the boxes but other than that I don't get his complaints. This 'every game needs a single player mode' meme has to die. Every game doesn't need a multiplayer mode so why does every game need single player one?
I saw his review of battlefield hardline and half of it was bitching about the terrible single player. Battlefield is a multiplayer-centric title, its roots are in multiplayer experiences and the focus of the game will always be multiplayer while the single player will be an afterthought.
The same thing can be said for overwatch and other mutliplayer focused games like battlefront [yes I know battlefront 2 had a campaign but it was literally multiplayer maps and modes with some slightly different win conditions and some nice narration]. The focus is multiplayer, so single player isn't necessary.
