I am bored of playing Overwatch in Teams were no one talks to each other.
Will play Mercy with everyone who is willing to talk and act as a team, even tough i am not that competitive.

Are teambased games even viable on console?
Splitscreen with friends are on thing but i cant see how it could be fun otherwise.

I always played teambased shooters on Xbox , XBOX 360 and XBOX ONE now.
It was always fun when you have a group of friends to play with, using the voice chat and all.
Some games work better, some less good, the coolest ones i played so far were
> Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 + 2
> Mechassault 2
> Shadowrun
> Halo 3 and 4
> Overwatch
Issue is that most people don't talk, therefore if you join random games or get matchmaked randomly you lose alot of the team aspect.

There's a reason why Halo 3 was #1 for 3 years, it had ranked matchmaking and people talked 24/7. I cant even think of a pc game that had balanced mm at the time

Well on Xbox you chose if you wanna join the chat or not then it gets autojoined.
It works fine but if you have 6 people in your team mostly only 4 use it and 2 of them don't speak and the 1 is eating chips.
So yeah it works but there is not much communication
