It wouldn't even be a problem if the devs weren't so fucking lazy that they couldn't demonstrate the effects of recoil in say the barrel of the gun kicking back and up while you fire, instead the gun mesh just sits there with no change as your bullets come out of the barrel at a 45 degree angle.

TBF the main reason I hate Dark Souls is because the iteration time on the bosses is too long so I feel like it would take fucking forever to get good enough to actually beat them, so your kinda half-right.
