Why would anyone want to buy this after Microsoft decided to fold XBOX into Windows? You want to play better multiplats? PC. You want to play Microsoft games? PC. You want to play PS4 games? PS4. You want to play WiiU games? WiiU. The xbox is basically useless at the moment. I want to play Scalebound, but that will probably end up on the PC as well. I have a very nice gaming PC. I'm glad I got my XBOX ONE for next to nothing.

PS4k is essentially Sony wanting to make a PS4 slim but the costs of shrinking the current specs costs millions of dollars of R&D while AMD offered them a deal to use their latest generation stuff that they've already shrunken and have working already.
So they decided to take AMD up on that offer which allowed them a specs upgrade too as a side benefit.

The new ps4 won't cut it for modern games. They might be able to hit 4k 30fps if they downgrade their games though.
6tflops on the xbone though..that's enough to keep visuals up to par and do 4k at 30 fps.
You can forget 4k 60 fps on both with modern games. Older games with outdated visuals will be able to do it easier.
